Crédit Agricole at the Wirtschaftstag 2025

As a partner and with its own stand the Crédit Agricole Group Germany attended at this week’s Wirtschaftstag 2025 (in English: Economy Day 2025), to which the Wirtschaftsrat der CDU (in English: Economic Council of the CDU) had invited to Berlin as usual.

Managers from Amundi and Crédit Agricole CIB – including Frank Schönherr (Group Senior Country Officer Germany) – took the opportunity to make new contacts and hold interesting discussions with business representatives and politicians.

Numerous keynote speeches and discussion rounds

The agenda for the two-day event included numerous keynote speeches and discussion rounds with high-ranking representatives from companies, academia and politics. The program also included several interesting panel sessions on current economic policy topics. Christian Pellis (CEO, Amundi Germany) took part as an expert in the discussion round on the topic of “Alterssicherung zukunftsfest gestalten!” (English tranlation: “Shaping pension provision for the future!”.

One of the highlights of the event was of course the closing speech by Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz (CDU), who gave an outlook on the German government’s political roadmap.
