With its Corporate and Leveraged Finance (CLF) business line Crédit Agricole CIB is a leading international debt provider and ranks among the top players in the EMEA syndicated loan and bond league tables. Analyst - Corporate and Leveraged Finance (f/m/d)

 


Your mission

Origination and execution of new syndicated loans (event driven financings and credit facilities) mainly for corporate clients as well as PE clients within the German CLF team.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

As a member of the team, you will be involved in the following areas:

  • Preparation and production of pitch books for corporate and PE clients in liaison with other business lines (DCM, ECM, GIB and Distribution & Origination teams)
  • Financial modelling, including cash flow analysis & financial projections
  • Due diligence, primary risk assessment, analysis of transactions, preparation of credit applications, analysis of returns using internal profitability tools
  • Execution of financing transactions (due diligence, structuring, negotiations, term-sheets and legal documentation, support to syndication/sales team for distribution, liaising with back and middle office for closings etc…)
  • Analyze companies’ business model, capital structure, financial policy. Position and benchmark the companies within their peer group within the industry / close industries

 

You will be fully integrated in the teams with a target to improve your technical and soft skills and gain in autonomy.

Minimal education level Postgraduate degree – MA/MSc/PhD/Doctorate or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality Postgraduate degree – MA/MSc / PhD/Doctorate or equivalent

Experience 0-2 years

Required skills Strong analytical and ideally first practical financial modelling skills, as well as basic credit and rating knowledge Strong communication skills Ability to work under pressure on several transactions with different priorities and tight project deadlines Team orientation, strong attitude, motivation and continued eagerness to progress

Graduate Degree in business administration, economics, finance, accounting or related field


Technical skills required High proficiency on Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Languages Excellent language skills in German and English; further languages would be a plus
