The team and missions:

CACEIS offers a wide range of services and products. As we are constantly growing, we must guarantee and maintain services for existing clients and ensure that sufficient resources are available for new clients. All integrated processes must therefore meet the high standards of solidity and effectiveness.

CACEIS Bank, Germany Brach's IT department runs hundreds of applications linked together in different technologies (e.g. mainframe, Java, MS Access, SQL, Windows, Linux, etc.), which require a department to monitor their service and system reliability. Therefore, we manage and control all aspects of IT service management in IT Operations Management. In addition, we manage projects, support and advise on technology and infrastructure architectures in different environments to our other IT areas (Test and Release, Application Development and Maintenance, Architecture, General Secretariat) in Germany. The ITO-RUN team uses automation, observability and proactive incident management to improve system reliability, reduce downtime costs, and enhance operational efficiency to meet the high standards of the financial industry.

 

In this context, your main missions will be:

  • (Major-) Incident Management (Daily Business, Documentation, Process continues improvement, Coordination and orchestrating of Business-, IT- and Provider Meetings);
  • Problem Management (Root cause analysis, Documentation, follow-up, coordination of Meetings);
  • Support Site-Reliability-Engineering tasks (Real-time logging & monitoring, measure reliability, Automatize tasks, SLI/SLO improvements);
  • Measurement Indicator Management (Assess, Track, Follow-up, report the KPIs/SLIs/etc.);
  • Alignment with Change Management and Development Teams;
  • Handle 1st, 2nd & 3rd Level IT support;
  • Working in various projects as project support in IT Operation Management area;
  • Shift work mode (on weekdays in shifts between 7am and 7pm).

Required skills High moderation and coordination capabilities Basic business knowledge in banking area Fluent in English Fundamental knowledge in IT frameworks, e.g. ITIL, Prince2, CoBit, Scrum Nice to have : French and/or German language knowledge Knowledge on COBOL/Mainframe/JavA/Operating Systems Programming skills (e.g. Scripting, JAVA, COBOL, Python, etc.)

Diploma in computer science, communications engineering, business administration, or comparable education.


Languages English: fluent ; French and German are a plus
