Summary

With its Corporate and Leveraged Finance (CLF) business line Crédit Agricole CIB is a leading international debt provider and ranks among the top players in the EMEA syndicated loan and bond league tables. Present in Europe, in the USA and in Asia, CLF is in charge of originating, structuring and arranging debt financings for the bank’s corporate and private equity clients. Through its rating and capital structure advisory franchise, CLF is also in charge of advising clients on all strategic financing matters from capital structure optimization to formal rating advisory.

The Corporate Acquisition Finance and Advisory Team provides syndicated and event driven financing solutions to the corporate clients of the bank and is a well-established leading player in the EMEA and Western Europe syndicated loan market and consistently ranks the Top 2 in the respective Bookrunner League Tables.

For our German CLF-Corporates team, we are looking for an

Associate – Corporate Acquisition Finance – Corporate and Leveraged Finance (f/m/d)


Your mission

Support senior team members with a view to originating and executing bilateral, syndicated and event driven financings for the Bank’s predominantly large-cap corporate and private equity clients.

Your key responsibilities

  • Analyse companies’ business model, capital structure, financial policy
  • Position and benchmark corporates within their peer group within the industry / close industries
  • Production of comprehensive financing pitch books for corporate clients in liaison with other business lines (Coverage, DCM, ECM and M&A)
  • Preparation of financial models, including cash flow analysis & financial projections
  • Drafting of business opportunity memoranda ("BOM") to be submitted to General Management
  • Preparation of transaction requests (risk analysis, peer analysis, transaction structure, transaction profitability, production of bank and stressed business cases, etc.) and coordination of the credit process (liaison with RPC, CPM/ALM, Coverage)
  • Support the coordination, drafting and negotiation of mandate documents and facility agreements
  • Assist Loan Syndicate and Sales teams in the syndication process (including preparation of an information memorandum and managing of Q&A process)
