The VIE contract in short:

According Business France's eligibility conditions, the Volontariat International en Entreprise (VIE) is an assignment in a French company operating overseas for professionals between the age of 18 and 28 who are European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Iceland und Liechtenstein) nationals.

The team and mission:

The Management Control team is part of Finance and is responsible for corporate controlling. You will be integrated in a team of 6 people that will support you to successfully archive your goals.

Your main missions will be the following:

Support in preparing the monthly-/quarterly- and yearly closings (P&L)
Analysis and commenting of the financial results
Assistance in preparing the budget of the next year and in forecasts of the current year
Comparisons of budget figures with actual figures on cost center level
Responsible for handling Controlling tools like MIK, Quantum & Sirius
Assistance regarding projects in Controlling (Implementing of SAP)
Reply to ad-hoc enquiries from Finance group or internal departments

In this department, combined banking and controlling knowledge is preferable for a better understanding of the working environment.

Minimal education level Postgraduate degree – MA/MSc/PhD/Doctorate or equivalent

Required skills Hard Skills: Good knowledge of banking industry Good knowledge in accounting (IFRS) Experience in project oriented working approach Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills Resilience and team spirit High solution orientation and strong analytical skills

Master's Degree in Business Administration / Business Economics (favorably focus on banking)

Technical skills required Very good skills in Excel (including VBA) and Access

Languages English: Fluent ; German: Basic/intermediate level (and strong motivation to improve it)
