According Business France's eligibility conditions, the Volontariat International en Entreprise (VIE) is an assignment in a French company operating overseas for professionals between the age of 18 and 28 who are European Economic Area nationals (EU + Norway, Iceland und Liechtenstein).

The team and missions: 

Part of the Banking Services & Operations department, the Securities Master Data team ensures the integrity and accuracy of securities master data.

We serve a wide range of clients, including investment companies, asset managers, and institutional investors, who rely on our data for accurate processing and reporting. Our team maintains data quality through rigorous validation and verification processes, proactively addressing any data discrepancies. We are responsible for managing and updating securities master data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and coordinating with internal departments to maintain data consistency. We also contribute to data governance initiatives and support the strategic development of data management practices to enhance client service.  

In this context, your main missions will be: 

  • Request and/or input securities identification numbers or securities master data from WM Datenservice into the system, following customer inquiries, to enable continued securities processing.
  • Ensure quality assurance for securities applications and provided securities information.
  • Adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with customers.
  • Conduct technical communication (via email or telephone) with internal and external contacts to resolve customer queries or internal ambiguities.
  • Provide support in project work focused on improving departmental processes.
